Visual Intelligence for Marketing
& Communication

Your brand is evolving. But is your visual language keeping pace? Too often, imagery still tells yesterday’s story while the organisation has already moved on. As a visual strategist, I bring ambition and expression back into alignment. The result is a visual direction that is not only recognisable, but also makes clear why your brand matters.

Five ways to work together

Whether you want to give your team fresh insights, make your visual communications fit for an AI-driven world, take a critical look at an important decision, or have a campaign visually guided from concept to execution, there are several ways we can work together.

A campaign gains strength when every visual choice reinforces the next. I turn your story into a clear concept and guide its development from start to finish. That might include photography, video, animation and AI-generated imagery, as well as illustration, graphic design, 3D, infographics, social content and visuals for print, events or digital screens. I bring together the right creative people, follow each stage closely in consultation with you, direct the production and keep the visual direction consistent across every channel. The result is a campaign with a distinct look that remains recognisable wherever it appears.

Fee: agreed together, depending on the scope of the campaign.

Banks look like banks. Luxury brands perform luxury. Activist organisations adopt the visual codes of activism. But familiar conventions can also make brands predictable and interchangeable. I challenge the visual assumptions behind marcom decisions and open up alternative ways of attracting attention, creating meaning and building distinction.

A focused half-day working session for leadership, marketing and creative teams that want to sharpen the way they read, discuss and evaluate images. I combine new insights into visual culture and marketing communication with a critical examination of the organisation’s own brand, campaigns and content. Together, we identify the conventions shaping current choices, where visual sameness may be
weakening distinction and how images influence the way the organisation is seen, understood and remembered.

The lab includes a preparatory intake, a review of selected visual material, a three-hour interactive session, relevant cases and insights, practical evaluation criteria, a concise summary of the principal observations and questions. Participants leave with a clearer understanding of how images operate within marketing and communication, greater awareness of visual conventions and sameness, stronger criteria for evaluating campaigns and creative proposals, a shared vocabulary for discussing images, critical questions that can improve future briefs and decisions.

Best suited for teams preparing a repositioning, campaign, rebrand or broader discussion about their visual communication.

From €2,450, excluding VAT and travel expenses

Based on a half-day session for up to twelve participants.

A focused one hour briefing on emerging developments in visual marketing and communication. I select and interpret the most relevant shifts in artificial intelligence, platform logic, visual trends, creative practice and audience behaviour and explain why they matter for your organisation.

This is not a general trend presentation, but a carefully curated update that separates meaningful developments from short-lived visual noise.

The briefing includes a 45-minute presentation, a 15-minute discussion and a tailored selection of recent cases, research and emerging signals.

Best suited for leadership, marketing and creative teams that want to keep their visual knowledge current and anticipate changes affecting future communication decisions.

From €950, excluding VAT and travel expenses

Available as a one-off briefing or as a recurring quarterly session.

Based on the ideas developed in the book Visual Instinct, this thought-provoking keynote explores how images attract attention, shape perception, express identity and influence behaviour.

Visual instinct is more than intuition or personal taste. It combines an understanding of human vision, visual culture, branding and craftsmanship. In a world shaped by content overload, artificial intelligence and algorithms, organisations do not necessarily need more images, but more intelligent visual choices.

The keynote challenges familiar assumptions, explains why entire categories increasingly look alike and gives teams a sharper language for understanding not just what images look like, but what they do.

Each keynote is adapted to the organisation, sector and audience.

Format: 45–60-minute keynote, optional 20-minute Q&A, tailored selection of cases and examples.

Best suited for leadership meetings, conferences, marketing events, creative teams and organisations looking for a fresh perspective on the role of images.

From €1,500, excluding VAT and travel expenses

Not every visual question requires a formal review or an extensive process. Sometimes, an informal conversation with someone who can take a step back, ask incisive questions and offer fresh perspectives is all you need.

In a confidential one-to-one conversation, we explore whatever is on your mind—whether it concerns a campaign, visual identity, content direction, creative collaboration or a decision that has yet to come fully into focus. I help you challenge assumptions, identify blind spots and explore possible directions. Our collaboration might take the form of a one-off conversation about a specific question, a series of conversations throughout an important project or an ongoing role as an independent sparring partner. We tailor the format to your needs and preferred way of working.

Ideal for senior marketers, communications professionals, creative leaders and entrepreneurs looking for a personal, confidential and independent perspective on their visual choices.

Not sure which format fits?

Are you facing an important visual challenge? Together, we’ll explore what you need. If you don’t find it in the current offering, I’d be happy to develop a tailored approach.
